World Book Day

We have had the most wonderful World Book Day! It was launched yesterday with a visit from the author Rachel Greaves who has written a series of books about Ruffle the Rail Dog. She captivated the children with her puppets and dramatic storytelling. Today we hosted our KS1 friends from Gunthorpe while KS2 went to their school for an afternoon of creative, reflective, sensory and collaborative activities inspired by Rachel's books.  This followed a book quiz this morning which the children enjoyed in their house groups.
