As you will be aware, Mrs Turner is absent from work at the moment. Any staff absence always has an impact, on staff, children and parents, which we try to mitigate as very best we can.
We are really fortunate that Mrs Nicholson is a well known member of our school family and the children in class 3 have enjoyed consistency and continuity over the past couple of weeks. She has done a wonderful job!
However, Mrs Nicholson has other commitments away from our school, working in other schools and running a private tutoring business. To ensure her wellbeing, and in turn the wellbeing of the class, we are going to have a supply teacher job sharing the class with her.
We are meeting the teacher tomorrow and will introduce them to you as soon as we, and they, have committed to the working pattern.
Please direct any communication about the class to Mrs Nicholson, if in regards to academic, medical, behavioural or wellbeing needs and the office for issues around absence or appointments.
