I am sure your children came home yesterday full of excitement about the wonderful PE and PSHE sessions they took part in. Mr Dillon, who is new to our school and Mrs George are delivering these sessions as subject specialists whilst teachers have their planning, preparation and assessment time. Classes 3 and 4 start their day with these sessions and classes 1 and 2 have them in the afternoon.
All classes will be learning hockey skills with Mr Dillon for this first half term which will take place outside. Do ensure your child comes in a PE kit every Monday for this, with tracksuit bottoms and their school jumper/ cardigan if needed to warmth.
Mrs George will be following the Jigsaw scheme after October half term but will start the year introducing the children to The Zones of Regulation. This is set to be a year long project and we will be offering an information session for parents too.
