We had the most amazing afternoon on Friday, thanks to our instrumentalists and the PTA. The afternoon was kicked off at 2.00 with performances from our fantastic musicians who gave the audience a real treat with music ranging from Phantom of the Opera to Abba, Classical to Blues. This was then followed by Langar Jam - a traditional summer fair with a twist. The children loved the pony rides, the ice-cream van, the John Deere tractor, rounders match, stocks, face-paints, glitter tattoos and more. The field was awash with families and friends enjoying delicious food from the barbecue and cake stall and drinks from the bar. It was wonderful to see families enjoying the fun together and children and adults joined in the Drumba demonstration and rounders match!
Creating a sense of community was at the heart of this event and I am thrilled to say that, thanks to the efforts and hard work of the PTA - it was a great success.
