24 December: “For God so loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”

23 December: “As the time came for Mary to give birth there would only be a manger for the new-born king”

22 December: “Amazed, the shepherds made the journey to Bethlehem to visit the baby”

21 December: "The angels sang ‘Glory to God in the highest, peace and good will towards men”

20 December: “The shepherds saw a radiant light and the sky was filled with singing angels”

19 December: “In the hills nearby, some shepherds were looking after their sheep”

18 December: “In a dream, an angel told the wise men not to tell Herod when they had found the new king, as Herod wished him harm”

17 December: "The wise men continued to follow the star all the way to Bethlehem, where it stopped over the stable”
