Vision
The Langar curriculum utilises children’s natural curiosity and seeks to develop time and self-management through problem solving, enquiry and investigation. We inspire children to collaborate, co-operate and reflect through talk, and lead them to apply their skills, knowledge and understanding through a range of real life learning experiences.
Teachers plan lessons and activities to teach learning skills. These skills are then applied through the curriculum. Children are assessed for learning skills on a tracker and this is reported to parents at parent consultations and on the end of year report. Children are rewarded with a sticker for using learning skills. A postcard is sent home when children have ten stickers in an area.
