Langar Church of England Primary School

Admissions

We are a church school, with a strong Christian ethos. We are also a community school serving Langar and Barnstone and the surrounding areas. We welcome and respect children and families of all faiths and none.

If your child lives in Nottinghamshire, and you require a school place for September 2024, you must apply for a school place through Nottinghamshire County Council, even if the schools you want are outside Nottinghamshire.

If you’re not sure whether you live in the area covered by Nottinghamshire County Council, you can find your local council on GOV.UK.

For applications not at the normal point of entry (in-year transfers) please see changing school in-year.

Before applying, please read the information linked in the relevant sections below, this contains important information about how school places are allocated.

You should also refer to Admissions to schools: guide for parents [PDF] and school information - they contain lots of information about the admissions process and a summary of the oversubscription criteria for Nottinghamshire schools.

Information on schools, the number of places they have, and their oversubscription criteria are outlined in Admission to schools: school information.

This is available to view online at :

http://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/education/school-admissions

If you are unable to apply online and wish to apply by telephone or would like a paper application, please call the county council customer service team 0300 5008080.

Langar Church of England Primary School’s published admission number (PAN) for 2023 - 24  is 15 pupils.
