I have been an active governor of many schools, both primary and secondary, during my ordained ministry. Schools including St Michael’s Farnsfield, (where I was Chair of Governors for a short time) St Peter’s East Bridgford, Richmond C of E Primary and Saint Francis Xaviour Richmond. During my time as Rector of Richmond, I was very involved in supporting the primary school community as it was placed in special measures and moved into a church MAT. Prior to my move up to Richmond, I served on the Southwell and Nottingham Diocesan Board of Education.
Prior to ordination in 2004, I was Sales Director of an international, multi million pound textile group.
Retiring in 2017 from my role as Rector of Richmond and Area Dean of Richmond Deanery, my wife and I moved back to Nottinghamshire and live in Newark. I am so pleased to have the opportunity to be part of the school family.
