Richard Swallow – Parent Governor and Chair of Governors
I am a Graduate Engineer by training, having helped run and maintain factories and machinery that brewed beer and baked biscuits for a living before working for myself in 2005.
For the last 18 years I have run an e-learning and training business providing “Animated” training material for adult vocational training in the use and operation of complex manufacturing equipment.
I have been a governor at Langar C of E Primary school for the last 8 years since just after my eldest daughter started her education at Langar. My youngest daughter is now nearly half way through the school, and I have graduated to the Chair of governors role.
The role of governor has been challenging and rewarding in equal measure.
