As has become somewhat of a tradition here, we had planned an achievements and awards assembly on Friday 12th February. It is customary that children bring in certificates, medals and evidence of any achievements they have had outside of school. These have ranged from Brownie badges to martial arts belts, ice-skating certificates to football trophies. We are obviously in unusual times and few of these hobbies will be taking place at the moment. However, we would still like to celebrate.
If your child has achieved anything in the past 6 months - even if it is taking up a new hobby - then please send in a photograph showing the award or even them in the outfit they wear for their hobby. Accompany this with a short paragraph telling me about the activity and the achievement. Email these to head@langar.notts.sch.uk and I will put them into a presentation with a voice over for the assembly.
