Black History Month is marked annually. It recognises and values the inspirational individuals and events that have shaped the black generation. During Black History Month, we remember and celebrate the important people from the past and also those who contribute to and help our society today.
The month of October is Black History Month in the UK, and we have planned a series of lessons, activities and assemblies to take place in October designed to explore this area of the curriculum.
We will also be 'Showing Racism the Red Card' by inviting children to wear red on Friday 14th October.
To support this we have shared resources on the website so that you can continue learning at home. Black History Month | Langar C of E Primary School
