It was wonderful to welcome so many parents and grandparents to Harvest Festival this afternoon and to see the great array of produce brought in for The Friary.
We had great fun trying to name the interesting fruit and vegetables that Mrs Turner had brought it. Amongst which were a celeriac, passion fruit and a sweet potato! It reminded us of all the bounteous gifts that God has provided and we thanked Him for this in a prayer led by Canon Gamble. The service was based around a book that Mrs Turner had shared with us called Mr and Mrs God's Creation Kitchen. We all really enjoyed the story!
