We are really looking forward to welcoming you back on Monday morning! I will send a letter out on Monday with a few updates and reminders for the term ahead.

Following a review of our safeguarding processes, we acknowledged a vulnerability when gates open at 8.30am and the site is accessible without a member of staff on gate duty. As we have a 'soft start' to the day, with classroom doors opening from 8.40am until 8.50am, we will be opening the gate to the playground at this time too. 

So that teachers can settle children who are coming into class, and begin the teaching day, Mrs George, Mrs Petchell and Mrs Brown will be on the playground (with notebooks!) to take down any messages that need passing on and to welcome children into school. Should you wish to speak to the class teacher, either pass the message on for them to ring you at their convenience, email them or see them at the end of the day.

Mrs Male put out a plea for baby dolls and associated accessories before the holidays for the class 2 role play area. If you have any to donate, please bring them in asap so that she can make it an engaging and exciting area for the children to learn in.
