Parents and families are welcome to join us in church next Friday for our annual harvest collective worship. The service will begin at 2.00pm and if you would like to you can follow us straight back to school to collect your children as it will be near to home time.
The theme of the collective worship will be 'taking care' which is our focus value this half term. We will be 'taking care' of our neighbours by collecting items for The Friary. The Friary provides food and shelter for rough sleepers in Nottingham. Your donations will made a real difference.
The Friary would welcome donations of:
Food: Bottles of squash and water, tinned items of beans, tomatoes, soups and meats, tea, coffee and sugar, cereal bars and chocolate bars, crisps and biscuits, long like milk, pasta sauces, jams, marmalades and spreads, cans of pop.
Clothes and Items: one person tents, large rucksacks and holdalls, boxers and joggers (M &L), T shirts (male any size), trainers (any size in good condition).
Toiletries: washing powder, washing up liquid, toothbrushes, shower gels, deodorants (male and female).
Please make sure your children are able to carry the items you send as we will be walking them all over to church!
