  • Parent/ Teacher/ Pupil Meetings

    Mon 14 Oct 2019
We are looking forward to welcoming you into school this afternoon for our teacher/ parent and pupil meetings.

    Helpful Reminders:

    • Please enter school via the main office.
    • Classrooms are open for you to take a look at your child's work and talk to them about their learning - you may do this before or after your appointment time.
    • Ensure you arrive promptly into the hall for your meeting time as teaching staff will not have time to collect you from classrooms.
    • Children are welcome to come to the meeting with you which will enable them to discuss their learning too.
    • Appointments are 10 minutes each and it is imperative that these slots are promptly adhered to ensure fairness for all. Please be considerate of this.
    • For those parents who have appointments after 2.30, we understand that you may be reluctant to go home and come back again for 3.20. On this occasion, we are happy to allow you to take your children home, following your appointment, from 2.45 onwards.
    • Classrooms will be unmanned for the appointments held after school hours. Please supervise your children closely as equipment, work and planning will be left out. This is especially pertinent in classes 1 and 2 where equipment for Continuous Provision is left out daily.

  • Poetry Recital and Track Opening

    Tue 01 Oct 2019

We are looking forward to welcoming you into school at 2.00pm on Thursday 3rd October for National Poetry Day. We will be marking this day with a poetry recital performed by a selection of children from across the school who learned a poem off by heart as part of their summer homework. There will be refreshments on arrival served by the PTA.

Unfortunately the planned unveiling of the running track following this event will have to be postponed. The installation has been delayed due to the heavy rain and it will not be completed by the original date set. Watch this space for further updates.
