Please take a look at the song class 3 learned as part of the workshop. It was a wonderful experience to sing with children from Orston, Gotham and Willoughby schools and have expert tuition from Katie who is a professional singer!
Belvoir Vale Tennis Club is having an open day on 2nd April. Please encourage anyone you know who may be interested to come.
Mr Fothergill is moving on! We are thrilled that he has been offered a Site Manager position at a larger school which is close to his home. This is testament to the hard work and dedication he has shown here, for which we are very grateful.
As a result of this, we have a position available as a caretaker/ cleaner in charge. Vacancies | Langar C of E Primary School (secure-primarysite.net) As stated in the advert, we would consider a job share arrangement for this with one person undertaking the morning shift and another taking the afternoon.
The appointment is made through Nottinghamshire County Council so please get in touch with Paul Tinsley - 0797313783 if you are interested.

The children have been learning a song called Refuge. This week they realised how much more meaningful the words were after following the events unfolding in Ukraine.
We decided to record the song to share with you. Please follow the link to hear it:

Rattle and Roll are holding holiday clubs over the Easter holiday. These are based at various local schools - Kinoulton, Radcliffe Infants and St Edmund Campion are the nearest to Langar - and you do not have to attend the school to take part in the club.
Take a look at their website Holiday Club - Drama classes, music classes, dance classes, singing classes, mindfulness and yoga for children during school, after school and in the holidays. By Rattle and Roll. (rattleandrollperformance.com)
Rattle and Roll have secured Activity Funding form the DFE, which means any child in receipt of Pupil Premium will get a fully funded place, including lunch.
Thank you so much for your support of the cake sale that was held to raise money for the plight of people in Ukraine. Your generosity never ceases to amaze us and your kindness seems to know no bounds. A particular thanks to Sophie Crowder for instigating this and for her delicious cakes which were a real treat along with the other wonderful treats donated.
The total raised was £370.80.
The money has been donated to the International Red Cross as the government have promised to match donations made by this method. Hence forth, with gift aid I think we will have achieved a donation of £834.75.
All donated goods are going to the collection point at QMC tomorrow afternoon or (if not on the permitted list) to Dove Cottage as mentioned in previous communications.
Thank you for your kind and generous support for Ukraine this afternoon. We still have an enormous cake to give away as a prize.
For £1 if you guess the weight correctly you will win the cake! The cake weighs between 1500g and 2300g. Please send your child in with the correct money if you wish to have a go. the winner will be announced in celebration service tomorrow afternoon.
