  • Reverse Advent Calendar

    Mon 10 Feb 2020

The children welcomed Helen Jones from the Friary into Collective Worship this morning, who came to collect the Reverse Advent Calendar and talk to them about the work of The Friary. Both adults and children were moved by the stories she told of the life-changing work they do and the difference our collection of toiletries and personal items could make to the homeless of Nottingham. Over 100 men and women visit the Friary daily, having a shower, being provided with warm clothes and eating a wholesome meal. Our donations will really help with the work they do.

We are so proud of our children and you, their families for living out our school values and spreading a 'take care' attitude throughout our communities.

  • Year 5/6 Rowing Festival

    Tue 04 Feb 2020

Mr Zisaruk-Gibson and twelve children from years 5 and 6, represented our school in an indoor rowing festival last week. Nineteen Rushcliffe schools took part which consisted of challenges such as rowing distances and burning target numbers of calories. Mrs Zisaruk-Gibson said that the attitudes and enthusiasm of our children was inspirational to see and complimented them on the way they upheld our school values at all times. We were thrilled to find out that the boys team came second place in the festival for which they were awarded very smart medals.
