  • DARE

    Wed 04 Nov 2020

Class 4 are currently taking part in the DARE programme. This is delivered bi-annually to our year 5 and 6 children.

    The DARE website says:

Introduced in September 2019, DARE 25 is our Primary programme which is delivered to year 5 and 6 students and is the refreshed and updated version of our successfully delivered and evaluated DARE Primary programme. (Nottingham University evaluation can be found here.)

The programme will equip young people with a range of knowledge and skills which they can use as the transition to secondary and beyond.

Our aim is to offer schools a programme that compliments the work they are undertaking. All of our materials are age appropriate and we have worked hard to ensure that feedback from our customers, partners and those with real life experience have shaped the content of our programme.

We believe this is the best programme available which meets the requirements of the new curriculum and has links to a broader range of cross curricular subjects.

At the end of the programme children often like to keep merchandise as a reminder of the learning they have undertaken. If you wish to purchase any of the DARE products, please follow the link.

  • Cancellation of Multi-Sports Club

    Tue 03 Nov 2020

Please see the below message from Rattle and Roll:

In light of the latest government guidance we are no longer able to run our sports clubs in school this half term.

Unfortunately that means our multi sports club at Langar primary school will have to stop.

We appreciate this will be disappointing for the children (and parents) but hope you agree the safety of the children is paramount.

Refunds will be processed today for the remaining sessions.

We do hope to return to school as soon as we are allowed and will let you know when that happens.

Take care everyone and apologies for any inconvenience.

    Best wishes,
